Join us in making Merrifield the best community in the DC Metro area
The Merrifield Citizens Association was formed in order to investigate the purchase and rezoning of the property located at 2924 Telestar Court, Falls Church for use as a homeless day center. Research indicated many alarming criminal statistics and an infinite number of Fairfax City citizen complaints about the shelter at its current location.
The Merrifield Citizens Association determined that this move was not in the best interests of the greater Merrifield community and set out to defend our citizens rights and safety.
With the assistance of thousands of residents, local businesses, legal counsel, and support from other concerned individuals, the Merrifield Citizens Association successfully defeated Fairfax City's disingenuous effort to relocate the troubled day shelter in just 6 weeks.
